Does anyone know how about going into the necktie business?

I am interested in getting my designs made into a high quality neckties and then to start selling them. I can design all day and come up with great designs but when it comes to actually bringing them to fruition, I don’t know where to start.

Hello,
I used to work for a necktie company. We designed and manufactured men’s neckties. If you’re a designer who wants to start your own company, you probably have 2 options.
One, you can find any wholesale necktie company, send your designs, label, brand, etc, and they’ll make it through their factory and ship it to you. This process can take about 2 months. Most neckties are made in China nowadays and their quality is getting better and price is reasonable. Most wholesale companies manufacture ties in China anway.
Second option you have is, to find a factory on your own. You can either search online or go to fashion trade shows. But you have to be careful and find the right person. This process will take just as long, but you’ll be in full control in terms of price and quality.
There’s much more to it, and I don’t know how big you’re budget is and etc… if you need more help, feel free to contact me.
