Need help making 2 Wizard costumes cheap?
I’m having a fairy party for my almost 5 year old daughter. She has decided she wants to invite 2 boys. They can’t very well be fairies, so I thought they could be wizards. The girls will be earning their wings, skirts, etc and I want the boys to earn their also.
Any suggestions on how to make an inexpensive Wizards Robe. One that is very low on sewing. I was thinking of picking up a couple black or Navy blue button down mens Shirts and thought maybe they’d work. Then tying them with a curtain cord around the waist. I don’t know…. HELP!
bathrobes can also be used to make an easy wizards robe
and also have a belt to tie it closed
find a non-fuzzy robe and trim to size so it hangs down near the ground
decorate with iron on stars and moons
use the trimmed off piece to make a wizards hat also with stars and moons so both pieces match
a pair of wands and pocket sized books for spells and you’ve got 2 new wizards
if the 2 boys don’t mind being fairies then just make them fairies
without the dresses
any sparkly outfit will do for boy fairies
