Suits are a major component of men’s formal attire. However, now-a-days suits are worn even on informal occasions, only in different less formal styles. Also, the jacket design may be 2 button suit, 3 button suit, 4 button suit, three piece suit and two piece suit, the most common being the 2 button and 3 button suits.

‘The Pinstripe Suit’ which consists of uniform vertical color lines on the suit is the most popular among this formal attire of men. The pinstripe suit gives a man a classy and sophisticated look which surely helps create a favorable impression with the people around. Armani, Prada, and Versace make the best Pinstriped Suits. The other pattern is ‘Solids’ which is of one color without any pattern. The more stylish patterns are suits with square or rectangular pattern or check patterned suits. The fabric used for men’s suits is mostly woolen, as they allow fewer creases while the other fabrics are cotton and linen. The Shirts worn with suits are usually formal Dress Shirts in formal hues of blue, white, grey, etc. The tie worn with the suits should be of lighter color than the shirt worn.
